Donald Edward Heatherly, Sr.
Mr. Donald Edward Heatherly Sr., age 74, born on January 30, 1937, in LaFollette, TN, of Barbourville, KY, passed away Friday, October 28, 2011 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY.  On April 25, 1976, he united in marriage with Carol Larson in Dearborn , MI .  Mr. Heatherly and his wife moved to Barbourville from Wyoming in 2001.  He was the former owner and operator of North Fork Farm Sausage Co. and a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church .  He was a Mason and a Shriner.  He enjoyed cooking, working with stained glass and woodworking.  He was a son of the late Luther and Virgie Lindsey Heatherly.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Luther H. Heatherly.
  Survivors include his wife, Carol Heatherly of Barbourville, KY; eight children, Annette Ward of Taylor, MI, Lauren Hasselbach and husband, Ron, of Garden City, MI, Donald E. Heatherly Jr. of Warren, MI, David Heatherly, Catherine Murphy and Michael Heatherly all of Taylor, MI, Michael Pond and wife, Sandy, of Canton, MI and Frederick Pond of Gillette, WY; eight grandchildren; among other loved ones and dear friends.
His funeral service will be conducted at the Indian Creek Baptist Church in Barbourville , KY , Tuesday, November 1 at 11 A.M. with Rev. Ken Merida officiating.  Family and friends will meet Tuesday at 3:30 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home in LaFollette , TN and proceed to Bakers Forge Cemetery in LaFollette , TN for a 4 P.M. graveside service and interment.  Friends may call at the Knox Funeral Home in Barbourville , KY Monday between 6 and 9 P.M. with a Masonic service at 8 P.M. and Tuesday at the church prior to the funeral hour.  Casket bearers will be family and friends.  Expressions of sympathy may go to the Hope Lodge, 1500 College Way , Lexington , KY 40502 in loving memory of Mr. Heatherly.

Roy Kent Sharp
Roy Kent Sharp, age 74 of Lake City, went home to be the Lord on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at his residence. He was born June 20, 1937 in Anderson County to the late Walter Lee and Cora Hawkins Sharp. Roy was a member of Fratersville Baptist Church and loved going to church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, restoring old shotguns, shooting matches, and his heart was with the little kids. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Junior Sharp, Buford Sharp, and Toga Sharp. Sisters, Anna Lou Bray, Evelyn Austin, and Margaret Davis.

Callie Freeman
Callie Freeman, at 92, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2011 at LaFollette Medical Health & Rehab Center. She loved animals, especially dogs and cats. Her family was her life. She was a charter member of Grace Bible Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father Thomas Andrew & Mossie E. Boshears Ballard, husband Sam Freeman, brothers James, George, Rose, and Jack Ballard, and sisters Tenie Aversa, Ruby Willoughby, Grace Hatmaker, and Lillie Mae Ballard.

She is survived by her brothers Thomas Ballard Jr. of Revina, OH and Sherman Ballard of LaFollette, sisters Helen Guriel of River Gate, MI, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev Hobert McCreary officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Bakers Forge Cemetery. Family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.

James Omar Sampsell

James Omar Sampsell age 62, of Jacksboro, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2011.
He was a retired Air Traffic Controller and US Air Force Veteran.

Fannie McKamey Jones, age 86, of Caryville went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, October 26, 2011.
Member of Beech Fork Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to church, gardening, canning, quilting and visits from family, friends, and neighbors.
Preceded in death by husband, Elmer Jones; parents, Abe and Susie McKamey; sisters, Mindy McKamey, Tennie Burress, Alice Wilson, Tasie Bullock, Senda Green and Tilda McKamey; brothers, Link, Jesse, Delis and Lonzo McKamey; stepson, Wilbert Jones.

Eloise Roberson, age 90, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2011. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, and friend to all she met. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved life to its fullest.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father Sam and Nilie McNeeley Venable, husband James A “Jim” Roberson, brothers Charlie and Sam Venable, and sisters Anna Margret Faulkner and Ruby Petrey.

She is survived by her sons Al Roberson and wife Lisa of LaFollette and Joe Roberson and wife Darlene of Smyrna, TN, sister Betty Ellison and husband Carlos of Michigan, and grandchildren Devan and Joey Roberson.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 27, 2011 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev Kenny Gillum officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Woodlawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Shawn M. Roderick age 52 of LaFollette passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at LaFollette Medical Center. He was of the Catholic Faith and a former Delivery Truck Driver.

Norma Jean Rector, age 66, of Hodgenville, passed away, Monday, October 24, 2011, at her residence.
The native of Caryville, Tennessee was a member of the Little Cove Creek Baptist Church in Tennessee, and was a loving inspiration to all her family, friends, and loved ones with a strong faith in God.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Columbus and Eva Adkins, two sisters, Juanita McGhee and Brenda Owens, a brother, Harold Adkins, and a daughter, Tina Rector.
She is survived by three daughters, Angela Cox and Regina (Ricky) Hornback all of Hodgenville, and Tammy (Derek) Bell of Sonora, a son, David Rector of Tennessee, eight grandchildren, Cassie Hornback, Kim Hornback, Zack Dobson, Amanda Dobson, Jessie Hornback, Grant Rector, Christine Shive, and Brook Rector; two brothers, Clifton Adkins and Chester Adkins both of Tennessee and thirteen nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 8 PM, Tuesday, October 25, 2011, at the Martin-Wilson Funeral Home in LaFollette, TN. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Tuesday at the Martin-Wilson Funeral Home in LaFollette.
An additional funeral service will be held at 3 PM, Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with the Rev. Carlton Puryear officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville.
Visitation will be after 1PM, Wednesday at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home.
