Nannie Jo Thompson, age 71, of Jacksboro passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the Tennova LaFollette Medical Center. She was member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church. Nannie Jo loved her family and friends very much.

Preceded in death by: Parents, Henry and Bertha Wells Thompson. Sisters: Aileen Busby and Christine Robbins. Brother: J T Thompson. Nephew: Mark Thompson.

Survived by: Brothers: and sisters in law: Robert Lee and Minnie Thompson, Franklin D and Weasy Thompson and Paul E. and Betty Thompson all of LaFollette. Sisters and brothers in law: Henretti and Ray Beaty of Chattanooga, Linda and Tom Albright of LaFollette. Brother in law: Robert Robbins of LaFollette. Delois H. Walden Siler
Delois H. Walden Siler, age 80, of CincinnatiOH formerly of Campbell County, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2012 at the Kenwood Terrrace. She was born June 4, 1931 in Campbell CountyTN to the late Charles L. and Nancy Bruce Walden. Delois was the beloved wife of the late Arvil H. Siler. She was the loving Mother of ED Siler and wife Beth and Elaine Reynolds and husband Harold. Delois was the proud Grandmother of Brian, Jillian, Amy and Molly. Even though she moved away, her heart was always in Tennessee. Delois always kept her family in her heart and wanted to be with them. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and baking during the holidays. Delois will be dearly missed by her other family members and friends. In addition to her parents, Delois is preceded in death by her brothers: Ancel, Jack, Hansford, Tilman, and James Walden, and her sisters: May, Flossie, Rosie, Azalee, Dorothy, and Bobbie. She is survived by her four sisters: Tilda Cupp of LaFollette, Pauline Reynolds of Pioneer, Geneva Tidwell and Naomi Burns of IndianapolisIndiana.

Charles Lonnie Turner
Charles Lonnie Tuner, age 75, of LaFollette passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at his home. He was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, Captain of a tug boat for 40 years, and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, tinkering on things, and he loved his dog and his family very much.
He was preceded in death by his father Lonnie Turner, mother Lona Spangler Turner, wife Betty Turner, and brothers Harold Turner and Harrison Turner.
He is survived by his companion Stella McNeely of LaFollette, sons Harold Turner, Dennis Turner, and Steve Turner & wife Donna all of LaFollette, brother Gene Turner of LaFollette, sisters Ruby White of LaFollette, Ruth Kitchen of LaFollette, Dot McQueary of Florence, SC, and Necie Martin of Wartburg, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews, special friends Gary Moore, Bill Powell, Robbin Bright, and Bill Brown, as well as a host of other relatives & friends.
Funeral service will be at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2012 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev Sanford Hill & Rev Ronnie Arnold officiating.  Family will receive friends prior to the service from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 2, 2012 in the Bakers Forge Cemetery. Marjorie Mae Amos
Marjorie Mae Amos, age 83, of Lake City, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. She was born December 15, 1928 in Anderson County, Tn. to the late Luke and Myrtle Pike Beach. Marjorie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake City. She loved animals, cooking, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She retired from Lake City Elementary School cafeteria with 37 years of service. In addition to her parents, Marjorie is preceded in death by, her husband, Howard “Sid” Amos, and her brothers, Russell and Charles Beach.

Billy Byrge, age 56, of Caryville, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at LaFollette Medical Center. He was born September 8, 1955 in Campbell County to the late Jasper and Ellen Duncan Byrge. Billy was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed the outdoors, flowers, and spending time with family and friends especially with his grandchildren. Mrs. Thelma Jones Reynolds age 82 of NorwoodOH formerly of Campbell CountyTN passed away Thursday, February 23, 2012.  Preceded in death by husband, William L.C. Reynolds, parents, Everett Sr. and Dora Jones, sister, Cleo Jones, and brother, Everett Jones, Jr.

Survivors:  Son, William Lemuel Reynolds; grandchildren, Stephanie and Collin Reynolds all of Ohio.  Several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services Monday, February 27, 2012, 8 P.M. at Walters Chapel with Rev. Delmus Bruce officiating.  Interment Tuesday 10 A.M. Mt. Zion Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Charles Edward Stephens
Charles Edward Stephens, age 78 of Lake City, Tennessee went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, February 20, 2012. He was a longtime member of Willowbrook Baptist Church and was ordained into God’s ministry on September 22, 1974. He was elected pastor of Willowbrook Baptist Church on December 4, 1974 to July 11, 1976 and elected Interim Pastor from September 27, 1978 to July 15, 1979. He enlisted into the United States Army Active Duty on September 30, 1952 and retired from the 978thReplacement Detachment with the rank of First Sergeant (E8) in Oak RidgeTennessee. He was a member and past master of Coal Creek Lodge #492 F&AM of Lake City. He was also a 32nd degree Scottish Rite and York Rite Mason. His hobbies included: reading, fishing, hunting, shooting, camping, and the military. His top priorities were: God, his family and his wonderful grandchildren.

Katherine Jacksage 87 of Briceville, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. She was born February 27, 1924 in Anderson CountyTN to the late Walton and Ada Daugherty. Katherine attended the Briceville Church of God. She loved walking, picking up aluminum cans, and spending time with her family and friends. Robert Lynn Norman, of Andersonville,formerly of La Follette, born June 28, 1956, loving husband, son, and father, found peace in the Lord on Tuesday, February 21, 2012. Happy is he in the arms of His Maker, in the company of his dad, RT, but a loss we will never overcome.
He is preceded in death by his devoted father, Robert Ted Norman of LaFollette.

Maxie Lea Ferguson Kitts, age 76, of LaFollette went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 21, 2012. She was a member of Fincastle United Methodist Church. She loved her family very much. She enjoyed making baby quilts for newborns, flower gardening, and collecting antique glass and kitchen wear.
She was preceded in death by her parents Leonard Ferguson & Agnes Blankenship Ferguson and father & mother-in-law Albert & Mary Elizabeth “Lizzy” Kitts.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years Dennis Kitts, daughters Pam Garner of LaFollette, Sherry Carlson of Jacksboro, sons Dennis “Randy” Kitts and fiancĂ© Rhonda Lay of Jacksboro, Marty & wife Becky Kitts of Speedwell, Albert & wife Kelly Kitts of LaFollette, 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, sister Effie & husband Jim Goins, brothers John & wife Devonia Ferguson, Jack Ferguson, and Bruce Ferguson, and several nieces & nephews.
