George Folton McFarland age 78 of LaFollette, passed away Friday, March 30, 2012. He was a member of Long Hollow Baptist Church and attended Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, member of Stooksbury Masonic Lodge 602 F&AM , Knoxville Scottish Rite Body and a US Army Veteran. He retired from the Campbell Co. School System after 38 years of service and recently was an employee of Grace Rehab. Preceded in death by Son Mark Folton McFarland, Parents Harv McFarland and Madia Webb, Brothers Harvey & Jimmy McFarland, Sisters: Beatrice Overton, Erma Hatmaker, Patsy Carson & Marie Eubanks. Clydia Jeam Freeman
Clydia Jean Freeman, age 79 of LaFollette, went home to be the Lord on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at her residence. Mom was born on February 6, 1933 in Union CountyTennessee to the late Charlie McCuen and Eltha Dial Sweat. She was a member of Bethlehem BaptistChurch in LaFollette. Mom enjoyed spending time with family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a faithful homemaker who enjoyed quilting and she made several different quilts that were sent to many states. She was an avid Tennessee Lady Vol and Atlanta Braves fan. She was called “Mom” by several people at the Lake City Ballfield. In addition to her parents, Mom is preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Freeman, her daughter, Joyce Freeman, and her brother J.W. Sweat.

Joann Eggers Aldridge, age 77 of Jacksboro passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012.  Born in North Carolina on March 31, 1934, to the late George D. & Lona Eggers.  She was a homemaker, a Sunday school teacher, Girl Scout leader and loved her family and her Lord.

McCloud McCordage 56 of Jacksboro went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 25, 2012 atNorth Knoxville Medical Center.  She is preceded in death by her father, Wiley McCloud, brother, Raymond McCloud, nephew, Charlie McCloud, niece, Angel Ballew, and grandmother, Louise Phillips.  She was a member of Walk by Faith ChurchLenoir City, and Co-Chairman of the Prayer Committee.

Hosea James Sutton 90, of Lafollette passed away March 22.2012. at Cumberland Village. Mr. Sutton was Born March 12, 1922. He was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church where he attended when he was able, He enjoyed reading his Bible working in his garden and spending time with his family. He was a Retired Army Veteran.

He is preceded in death by wife Alpha Paul Sutton. Mother and Father Swept and Nannie Sutton, two brother’s Bill and Charlie Sutton and one sister Aileen Sutton.

He is survived by one brother Robert Sutton and one sister Hattie Davis all of Lafollette Tn. He is Survived by Step son Donnie and Lydia Paul of Jacksboro Tn. Curt Paul, Chet and Wife Gay Paul, Eugene and Wife Gail Paul with whom he made his home with. Twelve Step Grandchildren and twelve Great Grandchildren.

Funeral service will be on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Cedar Creek Baptist Church. With Rev. LeRoy Braden officiating. Family will receive friends on March 24, 2012 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home from 6 – 8 p.m. Interment will be at Sunrise Cemetery. Honor Guard will be in charge of graveside service.

Jimmy Lee Householder, Jr., age 51, passed away March 21, 2012, due to the effects brought on
by liver cancer. Jimmy was a Well Driller by profession. He was the lead driller on the 
West Virginia
 
coal mine cave disaster a few years ago. He was preceded in death by beloved grandmother Tilda
Chadwell. He is survived by wife Mary. Son and daughter-in-law Jeremy and Gina, and grandchildren
Jacob and Cora Householder. Brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Laura Chadwell, Greg and Anne
Faulkner, 
Chad and Kristi Faulkner. Sister Libbie Faulkner. Step-son Johnny Fitch. A host of aunts,

Pearl B. (Hale) Hargrove, age 91, of Dayton Ohio, formerly of Caryville passed to her heavenly home Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Dayton Hospice.  Member of CaryvilleFirst Baptist Church.  Pearl retired from General Motors in 1984 and moved toCaryvilleTn until 2003, when she returned to DaytonOhio.  
Pearl was an avid gardener and liked to can vegetables from her garden and fruit from her trees.  Preceded in death by parents, Clint Hale and Alice Hale; husband, Leroy Hargrove; sons, David and Clinton Ricky Hargrove; brothers, Avery, Arzo and Sonny Hale; sisters, Lexie Loy and Pauline Williamson.

Hilda Jane Miller, age 58, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at UT Medical Center. She was a very loving wife and sister that enjoyed spending time with her family at the lake, swimming, camping out, reading, and working in her flower garden when she was able.

She was preceded in death by her parents Owen & Nellie Morgan, husband Floyd Cecil “Pudge” Miller, sister Mary Deaton, and infant sister Nancy Katherine Morgan.

She is survived by her brothers Boyd Morgan and wife Tammy and James Morgan all of LaFollette.

Funeral service will be on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. in the Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev Junior Dilbeck officiating. Family will receive friends prior to the service from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Interment will be on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Powell Valley Cemetery.

Don H. Jordan “Big Don”, age 69, of Lake City, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2012 at the Physicians RegionalMedical Center. Don was born November 28, 1942 in Campbell County to the late Hiram and Lou Dowell Jordan. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, socializing and drinking coffee, and spending time with family and friends. In addition to his parents, Don is preceded in death by a host of loving brothers and sisters.

Donnie Ray Weaver, age 61, of Jacksboro passed away on Friday, March 9, 2012 at UT Medical Center.

He is survived by his son Arvil Weaver and wife Mary of Caryville, step-son Ricky Heron and wife Susan of LaFollette, step-daughter Misty Lloyd of LaFollette, and grandson Joshua Weaver of LaFollette.

A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
