Mrs. Lucille “Blue” Hunley age 79 of LaFollette passed away Monday, December 19, 2011 at LaFollette Medical Center. She was a member of Indiana Avenue Baptist Church. Preceded in death by grandson, Patrick Goins, her parents, Barney and Rosie Riggs Carroll, sisters, Mary Gibson, Susie Mefford, and Jean McFarland, brothers, Barney Carroll, Jr., and Everett “Eb” Carroll.
Survivors: Daughter, Connie Young of LaFollette; Son, Herbie Hunley of LaFollette; Grandchildren, Toshia Goins, Nikki Grant, Eric Goins, Daniel Goins, and Shawn Goins, all of LaFollette; Several Great-grandchildren, One Great-great-grandchild; Sisters, Betty Jane Wilson, Minnie Carroll, Aggie Carroll, and Cloretta Carroll, all of LaFollette; Brother, Jessie Carroll of Georgia; Special Friend, Verda Suttles of LaFollette. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Wednesday 8 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. LeRoy Braden officiating. Family and friends will meet Thursday 10 A.M. at Bakers Forge Cemetery for graveside services and interment. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Mrs. Birdie Marie ”Reecie“ Ridenour age 64 of LaFollette passed away Monday, December 19, 2011 at Beech Tree Manor in Jellico. She was a member of Stanfield Church of God. Preceded in death by parents, Robert and Lizzie McCullah Ayers, two sisters, Mary Lou and Essie Ayers.
Survivors: Husband, Billy Gene Ridenour of LaFollette; Daughters, Gail Wagers and husband Rick, of LaFollette, and Angie Chambers and husband Greg, of LaFollette; Three Grandchildren, Tiffany Ridenour, Chad Wagers, and Anthony Chambers, all of LaFollette; Sisters, Dessie Smiddy of LaFollette, Leona Brinkler of Ohio, Ann Ayers Colvin and husband Bob, of Jacksboro, and Esther Caldwell and husband Wayne of LaFollette; Brothers, Rev. Andrew Ayers and wife Wanda, Dub Ayers and wife June, a special sister-in-law, Charles Ayers and wife Linda, all of LaFollette, Eddie Ayers and wife Jessie, of Pioneer. Several nieces nephews, other, relatives and friends.
Funeral services Friday 1 P.M. at Stanfield Church of God with Rev. Delmus Bruce, Rev. Pat Ayers, and Rev. Andrew Ayers officiating. Interment to follow at Ayers Cemetery.
