Amanda Nicole Goins
Mrs. Amanda Nicole Goins age 32 of Jacksboro passed away Thursday, January 5, 2012.  She was a member of Glade Springs Baptist Church.  Preceded in death by grandparents, Annie Laura Wilson, Onie and Elsie Goins, several aunts and uncles.
Survivors: Husband, Travis Goins of Jacksboro; parents, Harold and Dianna Wilson; sister, Robyn Green and husband, Dusty; brother, Logan Wilson all of Jacksboro; nephews, Cole Goins, Seth Green, Jake Green, Jordan Goins, and Evan Green; niece, Haley Goins.  Several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Sunday 7 P.M. at Walters Chapel with Rev. Hobert McCreary and Rev. Larry Watts officiating.  Family and friends will meet Monday 9:30 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to GladeSprings Cemetery for graveside services and interment.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. Bertha Masingo Head Goad
Bertha Masingo Head Goad, age 97, of LaFollette passed away Friday, January 6, 2012 at LaFollette Court Assisted Living.  She was born April 18, 1914 in Speedwell, community of Claiborne County, to the late Charles Elmer and Lou Isabell Masingo – the second oldest of nine siblings.  She was a 1937 graduate of Lincoln Memorial University and taught home economics and science for more than 30 years, retiring from LaFollette High School in 1976.  She was a member of LaFollette First Baptist Church, Delta Kappa Gamma teachers’ sorority and the order of the Eastern Star.  Preceded in death by husbands, Charles McKinley Head and Joseph Henry Goad.

Survivors:

Daughter & Son-in-law:  Wanda & JV Russell, Knoxville

Grandson:  Robert Richart, OrangeburgS.C.

Great-grandson:  Colin Richart, Oak Ridge

Sister:  Bonnie Page, Lake City

Stepson & wife:  Joseph Henry Goad, Jr. & Sherry, WinchesterVa.

Many nieces and nephews and extended family.

The family would like to thank the staff of LaFollette Court Assisted Living facility for their loving care and support of Bertha during her last few years.

Dale Tucker
Dale Tucker, age 64 of Knoxville, passed away Friday, January 6, 2012 at U.T. Medical Center of Knoxville. He was born July 29, 1947 in Roane County to the late Arvil and Aileen Tucker. Dale was a loving and good grandfather. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by Brother, Lynn Tucker and Granddaughter, Serena Nawrocki.

Interment: Will follow funeral service at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake CityTN.
