Virgil E. Chumley
Mr. Virgil E. Chumley age 74 of Harrogate passed away Monday, February 6, 2012 at North Knoxville Medical Center. He was a member of Gap Creek Baptist Church, a Shriner, and a retired lumberman and truck driver. Preceded in death by parents Otis and Ella Moyers Chumley, brothers, Roscoe and James Robert Chumley.
Survivors: Wife, Beverly Chumley of Harrogate; Children, Eleanor Childress and husband Terry, of Harrogate, Kathy Winn and husband Larry, of Port Huron, MI, and Rhonda Cordonier and husband David, of Colorado Springs, CO; Five Grandchildren; Two Great-grandchildren; Two Brothers, Eugene Chumley of Michigan, and Kelly Wayne Chumley of Harrogate. Several other relatives and friends.
Services Saturday, February 18, 2012, 7 P.M. at Gap Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Chad Burdette officiating. Jack Lynn Jones, age 56, of Lake City, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at the University of Kentucky Hospice. Jack was born on March 5, 1955 in Middlesboro, Kentucky to the late Bobby Jewell and Betty Jo Heath Jones. Jack was of the Baptist faith. He loved UT football, NASCAR, and being out on the lake. In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by: his daughter, Lora Crabtree, his stepson Rodney Dennis II, and his sister, Brenda Whitaker.
