He was a member of Long Hollow Baptist Church and attended Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, member of Stooksbury Masonic Lodge 602 F&AM , Knoxville Scottish Rite Body and a US Army Veteran. He retired from the Campbell Co. School System after 38 years of service and recently was an employee of Grace Rehab. Preceded in death by Son Mark Folton McFarland, Parents Harv McFarland and Madia Webb, Brothers Harvey & Jimmy McFarland, Sisters: Beatrice Overton, Erma Hatmaker, Patsy Carson & Marie Eubanks.
