Mr. Joseph M. Videtich age 75 of LaFollette passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a member of East LaFollette Baptist Church, a retired U.S. Navy Veteran with 20 years of service, and retired from Dresser Industries. Preceded in death by son Terrance Lee Videtich, parents, Joseph and Anna Videtich, and brother, Carl Videtich.
Survivors; Wife of 40 years, Karen Videtich of LaFollette: Children, Cherryl Takeshta and husband Robert, of Sacramento, CA, William Frumm of LaFollette, and Robert Videtich and wife Susan, of Virginia Beach, VA. Seven Grandchildren, Six Great-grandchildren. Several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services Thursday, March 8, 2012, 8 P.M. at East LaFollette Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Helton and Rev. Greg Chandler officiating. Family and friends will meet Friday 10 A.M. at Bakers Forge Cemetery for graveside services and interment, with military honors conducted by the Campbell County Honor Guard. Mrs. Cleda Byrd Sumner age 80 of LaFollette passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2012. She was of the Baptist Faith. Preceded in death by husbands, James C. Parrott and Lauzy Sumner, parents, Herbert Byrd and Elmina Hicks Byrd, brothers, Cleabert Byrd and Cleaborn Byrd.
Survivors: Daughter, Helen Marlar and husband Sterling, of LaFollette, Son; Ronald L. Byrd and wife Pernie, of LaFollette, Two Grandsons, Nathaniel Robert Byrd of LaFollette, and Ronald Byrd. Jr. of Jacksboro; Sister-in-law, Karen Byrd of Centerville, OH; Uncle, Fairl Byrd of Dayton, OH; Special Friend, Jim Babb. Several other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Saturday 7 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Wilson officiating. Family and friends will meet Sunday 11 A.M. at Fairview Cemetery in Huntsville for graveside services and interment with Rev. Mike Jeffers officiating.
