Mr. James A. Carroll, Jr. age 49 of LaFollette passed away Sunday, June 10, 2012, at North Knoxville Medical Center. He was of the Church of God Faith. Preceded in death by Mother, Barbara June Hardin Carroll, Grandmothers, Elsie Mary Carroll and Stella Hardin, Grandfathers, Albert Carroll and Lee Hardin, brother-in-law, Paul Lumpkins.
Survivors: Wife, Lois Carroll of LaFollette; son, James Matthew Carroll of Jacksboro; daughter, Rebecca Grace Carroll of LaFollette; father and step mother, James Carroll and wife, Linda; sisters, Bobbie Ann Brown and husband, John, Elsie Mae Phillips, and Joyce Marie Carroll; mother-in-law, Eula Irene Steakley all of LaFollette. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services, Tuesday 8 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Junior Dilbeck and Rev. Charles Jack Goins officiating. Family and friends will meet Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Well Springs Cemetery for 11 A.M. graveside services and interment. Eugene B. Gross, age 82 of JoplinMissouri, formerly of Jacksboro passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012. He was of the Baptist faith. A US Airforce veteran and member of Masonic Lodge and American Legion of Missouri.  Preceded in death by parents, John Robert & Maggie Marie Shephard Gross; brother, Johnny Gross; sisters, Nancy Sue, and Mary Sparks.

Mr. Ronald Jim “Wrong Way” Jones of MorristownTN formerly of LaFollette passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012 at ParkwestMedical Center in Knoxville.  He enjoyed playing ball and being around the LaFollette Recreation Center.  Preceded in death by grandmother, Nell Hampton, and uncle Jimmy Hampton.
Survivors: Daughter, Cassie Jones of Morristown; Mother, Frances Jones of LaFollette; Brother, Kenneth Lamb and wife Angie, and nephew, Elijah, and Brother, Cameron Lee Jones, and nieces, Libby and Emily, and nephew, Carson Jones; Aunts, Sandra, Ella, and Joyce; Very Special Friend, Gary Hensley, all of Campbell County; Several other relatives and friends.

Betty Ruth Edwards
Betty Ruth Edwards age 86 of LaFollette, formerly of VernonCT, passed away Friday, June 8, 2012 at Cumberland Village Care and Rehabilitation Center of LaFollette.  She was of the Methodist Faith, and was preceded in death by husband,Frederick Edwards.
Survivors: Three Sons, Gary A. Edwards of ManchesterCT, Kevin W. Edwards of LaFollette, and David F. Edwards ofPasadenaMD.  Several other relatives and friends.
