Leonard H. Oaks, Jr., age 65, of Jacksboro passed away Saturday, June 30, 2012.
He was of the Baptist faith.  Preceded in death by wife, Ruby Oaks; parents, Leonard Harlen Oaks, Sr.; brother, Gary Oaks.

Gwendolyn Ruth Cupp Hill
Gwendolyn Ruth Cupp Hill, age 73, of the Vasper Community in Caryville, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at theLafollette Medical Center.  She was born July 5, 1938 in Campbell County to the late Clay Alexander and Willie L. Sharp Cupp. She retired from the U.S. Government as a Postal Supervisor with 33 years service. She previously attended theVasper Baptist Church and was currently attending Indian Mound Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, watching sports, especially Tennessee Vols basketball and football, and Gwendolyn loved her animals. In addition to her parents, Gwendolyn is  preceded in death by her brothers Paul and Arthur Cupp.

Funeral Service: 8:00 p.m. Friday July 6, 2012 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Wilson officiating.
Interment: Friends and Family will meet at 9:30 am Saturday July 7, 2012 at Hatmaker Funeral Home to go in procession to the New Vasper Cemetery for the 10:00 am interment.

Teddy Burriss
Teddy Burriss, age 48, of Lake City, passed away June 30, 2012 at his residence. He was born on January 16, 1964 inCampbell County , Tn. to the late Russell and Susie White Burriss. Teddy was a member of the Royal Blue Baptist Church. He loved fishing,nascar, ginsenging, spending time with family and friends, most of all his great nephew, Peyton Ferguson. He also had helped at the Ridgewood Volunteer Fire Dept. He spent a lot of time before getting sick with his friend of a long time, Jackie Jobe. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Linda Seiber

Claburn A. Carroll
Claburn A.Carroll age 73 of Lake City, passed awayy July 2, 2012 at the Physicians Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born September 16, 1938 in Anderson County, Tn. to the late King and Mattie Lively Carroll.  Claburn was a member of the Fratersville Baptist Church. He retired from General Motors.  He was an avid Nascar fan.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Terry Smith, and sister Edna Bratcher.
