James Harold Wells
James Harold Wells, age 64, of Jacksboro passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2012. He was a member of Solid Rock Church of God. He enjoyed watching Westerns, helping and spending time with his children & grandchildren, and walking & spending time with his dog Cocoa.
Preceded in death by his parents James & Phoebe (Baird) Wells, wife Sally Jean Wells, brother Hershal Wells, and nieces & nephews.
Survived by his son Wesley Wells of Jacksboro, daughter Anita Porter of Caryville, sisers Janice Botts of LaFollette and Carolyn Rucker of Jacksboro, and grandchildren Ryan Smith, Elizabeth Porter, & John Porter.
Graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 10:00 am in the Jacksboro Cemetery with Pastor AC Jones officiating.

Billie Lucille Longmire Claiborne, age 77, LaFollette passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2012. She was of the Baptist faith, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved spending time with her family, friends and neighbors. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning, working puzzles and sewing.
Preceded in death by husband, Floyd Claiborne; parents, W.A. “Bill” Longmire & Martha Elizabeth “Lizzie” Longmire; sister, Betty Louise Longmire, brothers, Eugene Longmire and J. T. Longmars

Elmer Paris Shoupe
Elmer Paris Shoupe, age 72, of LaFollette passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 28, 2012. He was a loving husband of 49 years that enjoyed working in the coal mines, driving a truck hauling freight, farming, and flea marketing.
Preceded in death by his parents Lawrence & Betty Ann (Patrick) Shoupe, brothers Benjamin and James Clyde Shoupe, infant sisters Veniea, Essie, and Irean Shoupe, and sister Pauline Savage.
Survived by his sons Pearley Joe Shoupe & wife Jackie of Duff and Dennis Lee Shoupe of LaFollette, daughters Margaret Ann Hamblin & husband William and April Mechelle Jones & husband Russell all of LaFollette, sisters Grace Inman of Georgia, Lois Allen of Oregon, and Beulah Woodgeard of Ohio, and grandchildren Crystal Renee Hamblin, Jonathan Scott and Natasha Dawn Shoupe, and Heather Jean Hicks.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 31, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in the Martin Wilson Chapel. Graveside service will be on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 10:00 am at the Gross Cemetery with Rev Wade Walls officiating. Interment will follow the service. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Campbell County Cancer Association.

Rev. Lonnie Kennedy age 61 of Pioneer passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at his home. He was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church, and an ordained minister for 31 years. Preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Angela Kennedy, parents, Dewey and Omey Phillips Kennedy, several brothers and sisters, and father-in-law, Earl Huddleston.
Survivors: Wife of 41 years, Brenda Kay Kennedy of Pioneer; Children, Tonya Maiden and husband David, of Jacksboro, Lonnie A. Kennedy of Pioneer; Grandchildren, Shelby Maiden, Anthony Maiden, both of Jacksboro, and Kole Kennedy of Pioneer; Sister, Faye Taylor of Winter Haven, FL; Brothers, Bob Kennedy and wife Helena, of LaFollette, Don Kennedy and wife Linda, of White Oak, Tommy Kennedy of Loudon, TN; Mother-in-law, Geneva Huddleston of LaFollette; Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Friday 8 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Whited, Rev. Bill Loy, and Rev. Ronnie Arnold officiating. Family and friends will meet Saturday 10:15 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Hall Cemetery for graveside services and interment.
