Oliver Buck Daugherty, Sr.
Oliver (Buck) Daugherty, Sr., age 85, of LaFollette, passed away Friday, September 14, 2012 at his home. Member of Little White Oak Baptist Church, US Army WWII Veteran, Cold War Patriot , Avid Hunter, Knife Collector and Whittler. He was a retired construction worker at the Plants in Oak Ridge, and was a member of Labor Union 818. Preceded in death by Parents Hoyle & Laura Marlow Daugherty, Brothers Elmo & Garrett Daugherty, Sisters Wilsie Jo Moore, Jane Jones & Betty Taylor.
Survivors: Wife Roberta Dilbeck Daugherty
Daughters: Charollette (Molly) & husband Terry Burlew, Lexington, KY
Frankie Baird, Duff Kathy Woods, LaFollette & Fiancé Johnny Franklin
Son: Oliver Carl Daugherty, Jr., LaFollette

Funeral Service 2 p.m. Monday Little White Oak Baptist Church
Rev. Sonny Wilkes & Rev. Larry Kitts officiating The body will be taken to the church one hour before the service. Interment in Daugherty Cemetery with Military Honors by
American Legion Post 154.
The family will receive friends 6 -8 p.m. Sunday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home

Ethel Branam Smiddy, 80, of LaFollette, died September 15, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rubin Smiddy; parents, Floyd and Cora Branam; sister, Evelyn Smiddy and brothers, Vestel, Monroe, and Virgil Branam.
Survivors:
Sons: Edward and wife Treena, Jacksboro; Danny and wife Sherry, LaFollette; Jason and Clarissa, Speedwell.
Daughters: Deanna Bolton and husband Jerry, Lafollette; Betty Wagner and husband David, Raleigh, NC; Linda Campbell, LaFollette; Laura Wilson, LaFollette; Darlene Pebley and husband David, Speedwell; Sandra Wilson, Knoxville; and Pamela Smiddy, Jacksboro.
Sisters: Lucille Sands and husband Jimmy and Joyce Bolton.
16 Grandchildren and 11 Great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Martha Rose Smith McGhee, age 33 of Caryville, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2012. She was born September 17, 1978 in Knox County to the late Louis and Bonnie Isabell Smith. She loved her dog and spending time with family and friends. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by; Brothers, Buddy and Bobby Smith, Dewayne Isabell Smith, grandparents, Myrtle and Leonard Isabell.

Interment: Friends and Family will meet at 1:15 PM on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Hatmaker Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to Beech Grove Cemetery in Lake City for a 2:00 PM Burial.
