Bertha Comer

God sent a special angel to carry Bertha Comer, age 83, of LaFollette, to her new home from Tennova Health & Rehab on Tuesday, October 9, 2012.  Bertha was a member of Gravel Hill Baptist Church of Roane County.  She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Martha Ford Comer; brothers, Maynard, James Fane, George, Frank, John, & Jessie Comer; sisters, Ethel Comer, Gracie Brantley, Mary Loveday, Bessie Burris, Ruth Wilson, Lena Tate, special niece Helen Brantley, nephew, Benny Brantley.
Bertha leaves behind to cherish her memory, nephews Ronnie Wilson & wife Von and James & Robert Brantley.
Bertha leaves a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends that she hopes to meet again. 
Funeral Services 2 p.m. Friday at Cross-Smith Chapel

Miss Bertha will be laid to rest by her family in Bakers Forge Cemetery
The family of Bertha Comer will receive friends 12 to 2 p.m. Friday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home
