Janie Lee Cordell Gaylor

Janie Lee Cordell Gaylor, age 73, of Jacksboro passed away Monday, November 12, 2012.  Member of LaFollette First Baptist Church.  When she was young, she drove fast cars and, was even known to have once totaled a new car of her fathers and left it in the road; only to get in the car with Floyd and drive away.  She enjoyed riding the Harley with Floyd and going to the mountains in their jeep.  Preceded in death by parents, Dennis & Violet Kidwell Cordell; brother, Kenneth Cordell.

Russell Tyler R.T. Sharp

Russell Tyler “R.T.” Sharp, age 68 of Lake City, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born in Lima, Ohio on February 15, 1944 to the late Russell and Elizabeth Martin Sharp. R.T. was a member of the Wallace Memorial Baptist Church in Knoxville.  He enjoyed working, and spending time with his family, especially his son and grandsons. R.T. was the owner of the Shoprite Grocery Store in Lake City.

Visitation: 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Main Street Baptist Church in Lake City.  Funeral Service: 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Main Street Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Brock and Rev. Wayne Phillips officiating.

Interment: Family and Friends will meet at Hatmaker Funeral Home on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 10:15 a.m. to go in procession to Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton for R.T.’s 11:00 a.m. interment.
