John Gaylor, age 88, of Jacksboro passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2012. He enjoyed collecting clocks, working on small engines, and spending time with his children & grandchildren whom he loved very much. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie & Dessie (Hicks) Gaylor and several brothers & sisters. 

He is survived by his sons Don Gaylor & wife Diane and Lester Gaylor of Jacksboro, sister Almeda West of FL, 2 grandchildren, & 2 great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 14th, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in the Martin Wilson Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 pm. Interment will be on Saturday, December, 14th, 2012 at 10:00 am at Campbell Memorial Gardens with the Campbell County Honor Guard in charge of the service.

Mrs. Grace Elizabeth Moore Carr age 96 of Speedwell, TN went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 while surrounded by her family. She was a faithful and long-term member and Sunday School Teacher at Fincastle United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by Husband, Earl C. Carr; Parents, John Wesley Moore and Sarah Jane Lyke; Brothers, Millard, Ulysses, Eddy, Hobart, and Arnold; Sister, Lola.

She is survived by Son, Gene Carr and wife Joyce, of Knoxville; by Daughter, Lois McMahan and husband Jack, of Sevierville; by grandchildren, Jackie McMahan Underwood and husband Randy, Christy Carr Knope and husband Jason, Lori McMahan Moore and husband Bill, and Aaron Carr and wife Jennifer; by great-grandchildren, Sarah and Weston Underwood, Jackson and Holden Knope, Wyatt and Meredith Moore, and Donald, McKenzie, and Courtney Elizabeth Carr; by Great-great-granddaughter, Isabella (Daughter of Donald); by Sister-in-law, Jeanette Carr; by many caring nieces and nephews, and by a warm and considerate church family. Special thanks to Dr. James Farris for his years of professional care and friendship.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, December 16, 3 P.M. at Fincastle United Methodist Church with Rev. Lonnie Eldridge officiating. Interment to follow in Fincastle Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M. before services at Fincastle United Methodist Church. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Fincastle United Methodist Church, 629 Old Middlesboro Highway, LaFollette, TN 37766.
