Charles Edward Lumpkins, age 68, of Jacksboro passed away on Monday, January 14, 2013 at Cumberland Village. He enjoyed hunting, watching old movies, and loved his family very much.

He was preceded in death by his mother Oma Alberta (Wilson) Lumpkins and brother Freddie Joe Lumpkins.

He is survived by his father Hoyle Lumpkins of LaFollette, daughters Jennifer Elliott of Jacksboro and Cynthia Gunderson of Texas, brothers Doyle Lumpkins of Jacksboro and Bob Lumpkins of Georgia, sisters Mabel Hatmaker, Dorothy Clinton, & Glenda Perkins all of LaFollette, and 3 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 18th, 2013 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in the Martin Wilson Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 pm with Rev Kenny Gillum officiating. Interment will be on Saturday, January 19th, 2013 at 10:00 am in the Peabody Cemetery.

Mrs. Marilyn Doris Emmons Prim, 72, retired secretary for the State of Tennessee Fire Marshall’s office, died Monday at her residence in Lynnville.   A graveside service for Mrs. Prim will be conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Campbell Memorial Gardens in LaFollette.   The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4 – 8:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home in Columbia and Friday from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Martin-Wilson Funeral Home in LaFollette.
