Donald Edward Heatherly, Sr.
Mr. Donald Edward Heatherly Sr., age 74, born on January 30, 1937, in LaFollette, TN, of Barbourville, KY, passed away Friday, October 28, 2011 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY.  On April 25, 1976, he united in marriage with Carol Larson in Dearborn , MI .  Mr. Heatherly and his wife moved to Barbourville from Wyoming in 2001.  He was the former owner and operator of North Fork Farm Sausage Co. and a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church .  He was a Mason and a Shriner.  He enjoyed cooking, working with stained glass and woodworking.  He was a son of the late Luther and Virgie Lindsey Heatherly.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Luther H. Heatherly.
  Survivors include his wife, Carol Heatherly of Barbourville, KY; eight children, Annette Ward of Taylor, MI, Lauren Hasselbach and husband, Ron, of Garden City, MI, Donald E. Heatherly Jr. of Warren, MI, David Heatherly, Catherine Murphy and Michael Heatherly all of Taylor, MI, Michael Pond and wife, Sandy, of Canton, MI and Frederick Pond of Gillette, WY; eight grandchildren; among other loved ones and dear friends.
His funeral service will be conducted at the Indian Creek Baptist Church in Barbourville , KY , Tuesday, November 1 at 11 A.M. with Rev. Ken Merida officiating.  Family and friends will meet Tuesday at 3:30 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home in LaFollette , TN and proceed to Bakers Forge Cemetery in LaFollette , TN for a 4 P.M. graveside service and interment.  Friends may call at the Knox Funeral Home in Barbourville , KY Monday between 6 and 9 P.M. with a Masonic service at 8 P.M. and Tuesday at the church prior to the funeral hour.  Casket bearers will be family and friends.  Expressions of sympathy may go to the Hope Lodge, 1500 College Way , Lexington , KY 40502 in loving memory of Mr. Heatherly.

Roy Kent Sharp
Roy Kent Sharp, age 74 of Lake City, went home to be the Lord on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at his residence. He was born June 20, 1937 in Anderson County to the late Walter Lee and Cora Hawkins Sharp. Roy was a member of Fratersville Baptist Church and loved going to church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, restoring old shotguns, shooting matches, and his heart was with the little kids. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Junior Sharp, Buford Sharp, and Toga Sharp. Sisters, Anna Lou Bray, Evelyn Austin, and Margaret Davis.

Funeral Service:  8:00 PM Tuesday, November 1, 2011 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeryl Barnette officiating.
Family and friends will meet at 10:30 AM Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at funeral home to go in procession to Leach Cemetery in Lake City, TN for 11:00 AM interment.

Paralee Nelson
Paralee Nelson, age 64, of LaFollette passed away Monday, October 31, 2011. A member of Mt. Pisqih Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Arvil & Aretta Allen Byrge; sisters, Margaret Phillips, Louise; brothers, Elmer Byrge and Gene Byrge

Callie Freeman
Callie Freeman, at 92, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2011 at LaFollette Medical Health & Rehab Center. She loved animals, especially dogs and cats. Her family was her life. She was a charter member of Grace Bible Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father Thomas Andrew & Mossie E. Boshears Ballard, husband Sam Freeman, brothers James, George, Rose, and Jack Ballard, and sisters Tenie Aversa, Ruby Willoughby, Grace Hatmaker, and Lillie Mae Ballard.

She is survived by her brothers Thomas Ballard Jr. of Revina, OH and Sherman Ballard of LaFollette, sisters Helen Guriel of River Gate, MI, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev Hobert McCreary officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Bakers Forge Cemetery. Family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
