Mr. William L. Daughn, age 80 of Jacksboro, TN passed away Monday, January 9, 2012, at U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and also attended New Horizon Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Coast Guard and retired as a lineman for the New York City Fire Department. Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Eathel Daughn of Jacksboro; daughter, Kathleen Peters and husband Raymond of Sea Cliff, NY; sons, Thomas Daughn and wife, Marcela of Elmont, NY and Kenneth Daughn and wife, Barbara of Massapequa, NY; stepdaughters, Peggy Taylor and husband, Phil of Cleveland, TN and Mary Alice Lovelace and husband, Tim of LaFollette; 14 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 11, 2012, from 6 to 8 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home, in LaFollette, TN, with visitation to continue on Friday at Fairchild and Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, NY from 5 to 9 P.M. Funeral Mass Saturday 9:30 A.M. at St. Boniface Martyr Catholic Church in Sea Cliff, NY with interment to follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Queens, NY.
