
Mr. William L. Daughn, age 80 of Jacksboro, TN passed away Monday, January 9, 2012, at U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and also attended New Horizon Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Coast Guard and retired as a lineman for the New York City Fire Department. Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Eathel Daughn of Jacksboro; daughter, Kathleen Peters and husband Raymond of Sea Cliff, NY; sons, Thomas Daughn and wife, Marcela of Elmont, NY and Kenneth Daughn and wife, Barbara of Massapequa, NY; stepdaughters, Peggy Taylor and husband, Phil of Cleveland, TN and Mary Alice Lovelace and husband, Tim of LaFollette; 14 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 11, 2012, from 6 to 8 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home, in LaFollette, TN, with visitation to continue on Friday at Fairchild and Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, NY from 5 to 9 P.M. Funeral Mass Saturday 9:30 A.M. at St. Boniface Martyr Catholic Church in Sea Cliff, NY with interment to follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Queens, NY.  Willa Jean (Lowe) McDonald, age 82, of Eustis, Florida, formerly of Caryville, entered into our Lord’s house on January 8, 2012. She was born on June 21, 1929 in Fork Mountain, TN. She was a Corporal in the Korean War; earning the Korean and United Nation Service Medals. After raising her family, she continued servicing our country by becoming a nurse and working at the Nashville VA hospital and then retiring from the Butler VA Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Mayme Lowe; sister, Patricia Daugherty; brothers, Charles, Cecil, and Everrett Lowe; son-in-law, James Lloyd. She is survived by her son, Francis (Liz) McDonald of Wareham, MA; daughters, Winifred (Joseph) Chesmer of Pulaski, PA; Jean Lloyd of Eustis, Fl; grandchildren, Sarah, Brian, and Portia McDonald, Joseph, Jr., and Leigh Chesmer and Rene Lloyd; great grandchild, Cheyenne; brother, Clay Lowe of Dayton, OH; sisters, Sarah Lowe and Mary Vance of Chapmanville, WV; several nieces and nephews The family would like to thank Dr. Baskar for her care and compassion through the years and would like to thank the entire staff at Ruleme Center for their care and love.
