WILMOTH, WANDA SMITH- age 88, passed away Feb. 7, 2012, at LaFollette Court Assisted Living. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty one years, Richard Wilmoth, of Elizabethtown, KY; her parents, Jerry and Daily Smith of Eagan, TN; sisters, Lovella Porter of Leatherwood, KY and Geraldine Gray of LaFollette, TN; brothers, Fred Smith of South Pittsburg, TN and Robert "Boo" Smith of Dayton, OH; niece, Beverly Porter Paik of Cincinnati, OH and great-niece, Marlene Suttle Hatfield of LaFollette, TN. Wanda is survived by her sister, Janice Teague of Speedwell, TN and her brother, Charles Smith of Lexington, KY; several nieces, nephews, and a special great-great nephew, Brahn Teague of LaFollette, TN. Wanda was born in Eagan, TN in 1923 and lived there until she married Richard in 1965 and moved to KY. She lived in Elizabethtown forty six years, recently returning to TN in October, 2011. She was a very caring sister and aunt and she tried to take care of everyone, especially her younger siblings. Her life centered on her church, family, friends, neighbors, and her job. She was a member of the Severns Valley Baptist Church in Elizabethton. She had a Rank 1 degree in Library Science and taught forty-three years in Campbell County and Claiborne County, TN and Hardin County, KY. She loved teaching and loved her students. Visitation is 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 10 followed by the funeral at 2:00 p.m. at Cox & Son Funeral Home, Jellico, TN, with Rev. Greg Chandler and Mr. A.B. Forman officiating. Interment immediately afterward at Jellico Cemetery with pallbearers, Jerry Smith, John Smith, Gray Smith, Freddy Teague, Brahn Teague and Bobby Teague; and honorary pallbearers, Edmund Hall, Shann Teague, Alvin Evans, Joe Brown and Ray Maiden. The Cox & Son Funeral Home of Jellico, TN is in charge of the arrangements.



Patsy Jane Brown
Patsy Jane Brown, age 47, of Caryville, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at the LaFolletteMedical Center. Patsy was born on April 1, 1964 in DaytonOH to Robert and Reba Bowling Adkins. She was a member of the Red Ash Baptist Church and enjoyed singing.  Patsy is preceded in death by Father-in-Law , Lawrence Brown.

William Harold Nelson
William Harold Nelson age 62 of Jacksboro passed away on February 5, 2012 at his residence. He was born on October 15, 1949 in ColumbusOH to William and Gladys Rutherford Nelson. William enjoyed collecting knives, guns and watches. He will be dearly missed. William is preceded in death by Mother, Gladys Nelson; Brothers, Charles and Little Joe Nelson; Sister, Trula Nelson
