LeMarr age 80 of LaFollette passed away Saturday, March 3, 2012, at St. Mary’s Medical Center of LaFollette. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Army and of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by parents, Silas and Fannie Rutherford LeMarr. Survivors: Wife, Evelyn LeMarr of LaFollette; Son, Ron LeMarr and family of LaFollette; sisters, Gertie Chapman, Azalee Roberts and Gloria Brooks all of LaFollette. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Galen E. LeMarr. Mr. Francis William Johnson, age 76 of LaFollette went to be with the Lord, March 2, 2012, at his son’s residence. He served a term in the United States Marine Corp. and retired from the United States Army as a Sergeant First Class after 21 years of service. While serving in the United States Army, he served in Germany, two terms in Korea, 2 terms in Vietnam, and numerous other countries. He was awarded numerous medals and was a member of the Corp. of Engineers. Johnson, as he was known, was also assistant Scout Master for Troop 622 of Boy Scouts of America, and retired from the LaFollette Electric Department as their heavy equipment operator. Preceded in death by parents, Earl and Tansem Johnson, four brothers, Wayne, Mervin, Mark, and James. Survivors: Son, Timothy Johnson of Knoxville; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Jeff Walters of Knoxville; grandchildren, Jenna, Josiah, Jonathan, and Grace Anne Walters all of Knoxville; former wife and mother of the children, Carol Johnson Lester; sister, Virginia Coffmon of Columbus, OH and brother, Joseph of Milford, OH, along with several nieces and nephews, and numerous friends.Funeral Services Sunday 7 P.M. at Walters Chapel with his son, Rev. Tim Johnson officiating. Music provided by his grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. Sunday before funeral services. Family and friends will meet Monday 11 A.M. at Flat Hollow Cemetery for graveside services and interment with Full Military Honors provided by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
