Jessie Lola (Douglas) Nutt was a member of the United Methodist Church of LaFollette. She was born on June 20, 1921 in White Oak, Tennessee. She was married to Emerson Nutt on August 21, 1943. Emerson was born on April 28, 1881 and passed away on October 18, 1965. He had two children from a former marriage: JR Nutt who passed away on August 29, 1971 and Joann Nutt.

Her parents were Rev JL Douglas, born on April 29, 1881 and passed away on September 24, 1966, and Dora (Heatherly) Douglas, born on August 3, 1889 and passed away on August 1, 1987.

She had two sisters: Nina (Douglas) King, born May 11, 1917 and passed away on December 14, 1989, and Nona (Douglas) Branam, born on April 17, 1919.

She had six nephews: Gary W. King of Elkridge, Maryland, Billy Ray King, Harold Branam of Savannah, Georgia, Clifford Branam of White Oak, Tennessee, Donny Joe Branam (deceased), and Larry Bruce Branam of Houston, Texas.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Bobbie Sue Jones, age 75, of LaFollette passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2012 in the LaFollette Nursing Home. She was a very loving mother and sister that enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She never met a stranger and she loved the outdoors, especially mowing her yard.

She is preceded in death by her parents Howard & Etaline Stittums, husband Franklin Delano Jones, sons David Lynn Stittums and Dennis James Jones, daughter Nola Sue Stittums, and brother Darrell Lynn Stittums.

She is survived by her sons Brian and Tim Jones both of LaFollette, daughter Rhonda Wallace of LaFollette, brothers JL Stittums and wife Mary Alice of LaFollette and David Stittums and wife Sherry of Murfreesboro, sisters Charlene Swindle of LaFollette, Delores Dickens and husband Garland of Griffin, GA, and Nina Joe White and husband Gary of Eaton, OH, 19 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. in the Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. JR Kitts officiating. Family will receive friends prior to the service from 6 – 8 p.m. Interment will be on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Edna L. Petree age 95 of Duff passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012 at LaFollette Medical Center. She was a member of New Freedom Baptist Church. Preceded in death by Husband, Harry H. Petree; Sons, James Earl, David and Bobby; Granddaughter, Misty; Great-Granddaughter, Bailey; Parents; Charlie and Ila Blidge Calfee Brady; several sisters, and one brother.
Survivors; Daughters, Rosa Draker of LaFollette, Jewell Clark and husband James, of Atlanta, GA, Nancy Smith of Atlanta, GA, and Karen Jane Douglas and husband Ricky, of LaFollette; Sons, Harry Van Petree and wife Margaret, of Waterford, MI, Charles Petree and wife Mary, of Duff, Paul Petree and wife Ann, of Morristown, TN, and Jack Petree and wife Wendy, of LaFollette; Twelve Grandchildren, Several Great-Grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Tuesday 8 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Graham and Rev. Wade Walls officiating. Family and friends will meet Wednesday 11 A.M. at Campbell Memorial Gardens for graveside services and interment. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. James Donald (J.D.) Poston, age 77, of LaFollette, after an extended illness, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, March 31, 2012 at his home.  Member of Forks Grove BaptistChurch.  Preceded in death by son, Timothy James Poston; mother, Lutisha Williamston Poston; father, Joseph E. Poston; brothers, Carl & Lloyd Poston.

Michael D. Jordan, age 58, of Jacksboro passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2012. He was a very loving son, brother, uncle, and friend that enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a 1972 graduate of West Carrollton High School of Dayton, OH and was a Veteran of the US Army.

He was preceded in death by his father Richard L. Jordan.

He is survived by his mother Geneva Jordan of Jacksboro, sisters Carol Cox and husband David of Marietta, GA and Patsy Kimball of Dayton, OH, brothers Fred Jordan and wife Carolyn of Caryville, Steve Jordan and wife Kathy of Jacksboro, Keith Jordan and wife Cecilia of Knoxville, Wade Jordan and wife Linda of Dayton, OH, Wayne Jordan and wife Lydia of Dayton, OH and Richard Jordan and wife Kelly of Dayton, OH, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Interment will be on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 in the Meredith Cemetery at 10:00 a.m.
