Mrs. Dorothy P. Lawson age 67 of Warren, MI formerly of LaFollette passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012 at St. John Macomb Oakland Hospital-Macomb Center in Warren, MI.  She attended the Parkview Church of Christ.  Preceded in death by husband, Presley Lawson, parents, George and Marie Messer Mefford.

Survivors: Children, Mark Lawson, Tammy Low and husband John, and Scott Lawson, all of Michigan; Grandchildren, Andrew Scott Lawson and wife Taylor, U.S. Army stationed in Washington State, and Sarah Mae Lawson of Michigan; Sisters, Geraldine Gaylor of LaFollette, Nona McDaniel of Jacksboro, and Sarah Mefford of Lake City; Brothers, Phillip Mefford of Caryville, and Tim Mefford of Jacksboro.  Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services Friday 8 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Timothy Mefford officiating.  Interment Saturday 10 A.M. at Murrayville Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M.
