Mr. James “Don” Wilson went to be with the Lord and his beloved daughter, Donna, Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at U.T. MedicalCenter in Knoxville.  He was a member of Alder Springs Baptist Church, a retired insurance agent with American General, and a veteran of the Vietnam War.  He was preceded in death by parents Virgil and Ora Marie Brantley Wilson; Daughter, Donna Marie Wilson Kitts; Brothers, Dennis, Eugene, and Paul Wilson; Sisters, Margie Sue Wilson and Wanda Peters Helton; Mother-in-law, Carrie Baird.

Don is survived by wife, Valerie Baird Wilson; Daughter, Amy Bolton; Grandchildren, Joseph and Johnna Kitts, Sierra Wilson, and Summer Bolton; Brother, Claude Wilson; Sisters, Peggy Hornsby and Catherine Paul; Father-in-law, Robert A. Baird.

Funeral Services Thursday 8 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Elkins and Rev. Kenny Gillum officiating.  Family and friends will meet Friday 10 A.M. at Stokes Cemetery for graveside services and interment with Military Honors conducted by the Campbell County Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M.
