Rev. Paul E. Swafford, age 82, of Caryville, formerly of Jellico, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 24, 2012.
He was retired from Consol Coal Co. and a member of Lakeview Baptist Church, after having pastored several churches in the area.  Preceded in death by parents, Samuel & Ollie Fay Walls Swafford; brother & sister; first wife, Myria; son, Larry.
Survivors:
Wife of 22 years, Aline Partin Swafford
Sons & daughters-in-law:  Mike of Sugar hill, Georgia
                                           Woody, Rick & wife Kim, Johnny & wife Vonda, all of Jellico
Stepdaughters he considered as daughters:  Brenda, Donna, Peggy

Mr. Reynold H. Perkins age 93 of Jacksboro Passed away Thursday, April 24, 2012 at Summit View of Lake City.  He was a member of Jacksboro Masonic Lodge, Honorary Director and Member of Farm Bureau, and a Veteran of WWII.  Preceded in death by wife, Lucille Perkins, parents, Alexander Early and Susie Jones Perkins, sister, Barbara Schism, brother, Raymond Perkins.
Survivors: Sons, Randal A. Perkins and wife Glenda, and Early Perkins and wife Fonda; Grandchildren, Dustin Perkins and Hannah Perkins, all of LaFollette; Sister, Billie Jean Cooper of MobileAL; Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Thursday 8 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Asbury officiating.  Family and friends will meet Friday 11 A.M. at Jacksboro Cemetery for graveside services and interment with military honors conducted by the Campbell County Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Nellie Marie Riggs
Nellie Marie Riggs, age 60, passed away at the Norris Health & Rehab Center in NorrisTN. She was born in CapitoKentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents James & Laura (Crigger) Elder and husband Joe Riggs.
She is survived by her stepchildren Joe Riggs Jr. and wife Jenn of California, Heather Riggs & Dave Bernheart of Alaska, Amanda Anderson and husband Fred of LaFollette, and Ethan Riggs of LaFollette, sisters Bonnie Cobb & Charity Williams both of Harrogate, grandchildren Olivia Anderson, Fred Anderson, & Kendal Bernheart, aunts Jean Williams & Bonnie Cobb both of Harrogate, special friend Buddy Bolinger, several nieces & nephews, and a host of other relatives & friends.
Funeral service will be at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2012 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev Hobert McCreary officiating.  Family will receive friends prior to the service from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Interment will be on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens.
