Helen Patrick Mounts, age 78, of Speedwell passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Tennova Physicians Regional Medical Center. She was a great and active church member at Emmanuel Baptist Church and loved to bowl.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frank & Laura Patrick, brother Johnny Patrick, and sister Shirley Cline.

She is survived by her husband Dennis G. Mounts of Speedwell, sons Dennis Frank Mounts of Johnson City, Gregory C Mounts of St. Croys, Jeffery D Mounts of LaFollette, and Patrick Allen Mounts of Speedwell, sister Lella Thatcher of Ohio, 8 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 in the Martin Wilson Chapel. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev Don Proffitt officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Beeler Cemetery.
