Mr. Don L. Nance, age 76 of Jacksboro passed away Monday, July 9, 2012, at LaFollette Medical Center. He served as Campbell County Court Clerk for 24 years, member of Jacksboro Masonic Lodge #322 F.&A.M., member of Jacksboro First Baptist Church, owner of Don Nance Gulf Service Station for 24 years prior to being Campbell County Clerk. Preceded in death by parents, Dealis and Pearl Rector Nance, brothers, J. H. Nance and Paris Nance.
Survivors: Wife of 56 years, Sue Nance, Jacksboro; son, Derick Nance and wife, Debbi of Knoxville; daughter, Erica Simpson and husband, Tony of Jacksboro; three grandchildren, Kolby Nance and wife, Meggie of Knoxville, Ethan Simpson and Morgan Simpson both of Jacksboro; great-grandson, Siler Nance of Knoxville. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service Friday 7 P.M. at Jacksboro First Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Morris officiating. Family and friends will meet at Walters Funeral Home Saturday at 9:30 A.M. and proceed to Cumberland View Cemetery for graveside services and interment. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. Friday before services at the church. While flowers are beautiful and appreciated, the family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Jacksboro First Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O. Hazel Wilburn Osborne, age 75, of LaFollette passed away on Monday, July 9, 2012. She enjoyed playing the guitar, singing and going to church, flea markets, making quilts, crocheting, helping people, and she loved her family very much.

Preceded in death by her parents Elish & Tracy (Perkins) Wilburn, brothers John Floyd, Odell, & Sherman Wilburn, and sisters Marie Wilburn, Ruby Ayers, and Opal Branam.

Survived by her son Jerry Lee Walden of LaFollette, daughters Patsy Roberts of LaFollette and Virginia Collins & husband Robert of Jellico, sister Emma Lee Campbell of Pioneer, 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, as well as a host of other relatives & friends.

Graveside service will be on Thursday, July 12th, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Halls Cemetery.

Lorene Kitts Rutherford, age 70, of LaFollette passed away suddenly on Monday, July 9, 2012. She was born in LaFollette on September 30, 1941. She was a long time member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Lorene loved her family, going to church, and had a creative spirit working with her hands making flower arrangements or turning common items in to eye catching pieces.

Preceded in death by her parents Rose & Gertrude Harmon Kitts, husband Paul Rutherford, sisters Margaret Kitts & Naomi Gillum, brothers Elbert Rose, Jr., Elmer & Troy Kitts.

Survived by her daughters Sherry Owens & husband Robert and Jennifer Bruce & husband Edd, grandchildren Brittany A. Bruce & husband Justin Rose and Logan Bruce, soon-to-be great-granddaughter Serenity Bruce-Rose, brothers R.L. Boyd & wife Nancy, Ronnie & wife Della, Billy Jack, Larry & wife Kathy, David & wife Martha Kitts, sisters Barbara Jean Carson, Geraldine Ayers, Linda McCreary & husband Don, and special sister-in-law Essie Kitts.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 12th, 2012 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Griffith & Rev Tommy Gillum officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2 pm. Interment will follow the service in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
