Lorene Lida Robbins Wilson

Mrs. Lorene “Lida” Robbins Wilson age 83 of LaFollette passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.  Preceded in death by Husband, Edward Wilson; Daughter and Son-in-law, Polly and J. Will Reynolds; An infant granddaughter; Parents, William and Effie Mae Hutson Robbins; Brothers, Howard Huce Robbins, Erby Robbins, and Dee Robbins; Sisters, Mossie Robbins, Maggie Robbins, Ruby Wells, and Ellen Shown; Special Nephew, J.C. Sharp.

Survivors: Children, Missy Wilson of LaFollette, Pam Stanford and Husband Marvin, of LaFollette, Tom Wilson and Friend, Jessie Garland, of LaFollette; Five Grandchildren, Jason, Lisa, Brandon, John, and Brian; Seven Great-grandchildren; Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services Saturday 8 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leroy Braden officiating.  Family and friends will meet Sunday 10:30 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Grantsboro Cemetery for 11 A.M. graveside services and interment.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Martha Moore, age 86, of LaFollette passed away Friday, August 17, 2012.  Member of West LaFollette Baptist Church.  Preceded in death by parents, Dewey & Lillie Arbough Moore; sisters, Frances Butterini, Shirley Jones.

Irene Smith Cantrell Boshears

Irene Smith Cantrell Boshears,  age 86, of Jacksboro, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012 at the Golden Living Windwood Facility in Clinton. She was born February 4, 1926 in Oliver Springs to the late Willie and Cora Lee Taylor Smith. Irene was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clinton. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and being involved with the Boy and Girls Scouts. In addition to her parents, Irene is preceded in death by her first husband, Hubert Cantrell.

Reverend Robert Lee Kennedy 

Rev. Robert Lee Kennedy,  age 80, of Lake City, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012 at his residence.  He was born October 14, 1931 in Anderson County, Tn. to the late Mike and Laura Duncan Kennedy. Robert was a member of the Cumberland Mountain Missionary Baptist Church, formerly known as the Swag. He enjoyed reading his Bible, ginsenging, hunting, taxidermy, upholstering furniture, and spending time with his family and friends.  He pastored at Red Oak Baptist Church and Schultz Hollow Baptist Church.  He was an Army Veteran.  In addition to parents, Robert is preceded in death by his son, Donnie Kennedy, sisters, Ella Minge and Rosie Marlow, half brother, Earl Kennedy, and half sisters, Zella Carroll and Della Alden.

Funeral Service: 8:00 pm on Sunday, August 19, 2012 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charlie Mac Marlow and Rev. Jay Braden officiating.

Interment: Friends and Family will meet at the Mountain View Cemetery on Monday, August 20, 2012 at 12:00 Noon for Rev. Robert Lee Kennedy’s interment with military honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard.

Marshall Ray Seiber, age 78, of Caryville passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012.

Member and deacon of Clinchmore Baptist Church and US Army/Korean war veteran.

Preceded in death by parents, Rev. George Seiber & Rachael McKamey Seiber; brother, Clarence Seiber; sisters, Rhoda Seiber, Norma Byrge, Ethel Phillips; daughter-in-laws, Pauline Seiber, Sheril Seiber.
