W.C. Red Bright
Mr. W.C. “Red” Bright age 90 of Jacksboro, TN passed away Monday, August 20, 2012 at LaFollette Medical Center.  He was a member of West LaFollette Baptist Church, a retired electrician, veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of Campbell County Masonic Lodge #778 F. & A.M., Knoxville Scottish Rite Bodies, Campbell County Scottish Rite, and a Shriner with Knoxville Kerbella Temple.  Preceded in death by wife, Lauretta McDonald Bright, parents, Charles M. Bright and Eva Greenlee Bright, stepson, Donald Ray Hatmaker, and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors: Son, Gordon Bright of Knoxville, TN; Step-Daughters, Nancy Hatmaker of Harriman, TN, and Celinda Kay Leach and husband Ted, of Bloomington, IN; Daughter-in-law, Gail Hatmaker of Jacksboro, TN; Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Friday 7 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel.  Family and friends will meet Saturday 10 A.M.  at Powell Valley Cemetery and Memorial Gardens for graveside services and interment with Military Honors conducted by the Campbell County Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. James Robinson
James Robinson, 56, of Caryville passed away on Friday, August 17, 2012, surrounded by his family.  He was born on October 22, 1955.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, swimming, joking and having fun.  His friends also knew him as Hambone and Wildman.
He was preceded in death by his parents Kyle and Betty Robinson and his sister Teresa Robinson. 
James is survived and will be greatly missed by:  his wife Mildred Robinson; sons James Robinson and wife Connie Lynn, and Daniel Robinson; daughters Melissa Atkins and husband Daniel Atkins; Rachel Branham and fiancé Michael Freeman; Amy Pearce and husband Jay Pearce; grandchildren Savannah Robinson, Bryce Shelton, Gunnar Branham, Alex Branham, Caleb Shelton, Connor Robinson, Kasen Shelton, Elliott Atkins, Drew Robinson, Emily Branham, Josh Walden, Natosha Broyles and husband Scott, Tabatha Walden, Tara Lloyd, and Aaron Atkins; brothers Kenneth Rutherford, Albert Robinson and wife Cheryle, and Billy Robinson;  sisters  Jacqy Adams and husband Mark, Irene Goins and husband Tim, Denise Sweet, and Lou Ann Bean and husband Joe.
Memorial Service will be held at Cove Lake Park in CaryvilleTennessee on Monday, August 20, 2012 at 6:00 p.m.
Cecil Phillips
Cecil Phillips, age 71, of Caryville passed away Friday, August 17, 2012.
Funeral service:  Monday, August 20, 2012, 7:00 p.m. in Martin Wilson Chapel with Brother Dowell Phillips officiating.  Family receives friends Monday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.  Interment Tuesday, August 21, 2012, 10:00 a.m. in Powell Valley Cemetery.  Cecil Phillips complete obituary will soon be posted here.
James Matthew Weldon
James Matthew Welden, age 69, of Knoxville, formerly of LaFollette passed away Friday, August 17, 2012. 
James loved the Lord and was a loving husband and father.  He had a great love for his grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, brothers, cousins and friends.  James loved the outdoors and was a craftsman by trade.  His joy of being a carpenter made him happy because his friend Jesus was a carpenter. A member of Long Hollow Baptist Church and a life long home builder.  Preceded in death by parents, Elmer & Gracie Welden; brothers, Thurman Welden, Steve Welden; sisters, Irene Welden, Bertha Guy, Joyce Kennedy.

M. C. John Hester Hooks
John Hester Hooks, age 76 of Lake City, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. He was born February 7, 1936 in Anderson County to the late Virgie Harvey and Mazzie Webb Hooks. John attended First Baptist Church of Lake City and was a member of Dutch Valley First Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, working in the garden, telling jokes, and talking with friends. John loved going to church. In addition to parents he is preceded in death by, brothers; Luther, Calvin, Joe, and Houston Hooks, sisters; Bertha White and Lille Mae Kelly.
