Cordis Gilbert Byrge, age 76 of Devonia, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. He was born March 29, 1936 in Anderson County to the late Eli and Willie Marie Reynolds Byrge. Cordis attended Freewill Baptist Church. He enjoyed listening to music, working in the garden and on cars. He also enjoyed traveling with his cousin and best friend, James West and spending time with family and friends. In addition to parents he is preceded in death by, sister; Mary Daugherty.

Funeral Service: 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2012 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Morgan and Rev. Ralph Wilson officiating.
Friends and Family will meet at Grave Hill Cemetery in New River at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 2, 2012 for his interment.
John Thomas “Tom” Byrge, age 78 of Lake City, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. He was born July 18, 1934 in Campbell County to the late Everette and Ruby Phillips Byrge. Tom was a Air Force veteran who served in the Korean War. He was a member of the Longfield Baptist Church. Tom enjoyed fishing and watching Tennessee football and basketball. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife; Louise Sharp Byrge, son; John “Anthony” Byrge, brothers; Glen, Charles, and Earnest Byrge, sisters; Susie Norman and Clara Hammer.
