Clinton Clay Ward, better known as Clay, age 71 of Clinton, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. He was born on May 20, 1941 to the late Haskell and Elizabeth Braden Ward.  Clay was a member of the Shultz Hollow Baptist Church. He enjoyed four-wheeling, playing bingo, and spending time with his kids, and his grandkids. In addition to his parents, Clay is preceded in death by his brothers: Earnest and Virgil Ward, and his sisters: Bertha Jones, and Alice Fugate.

A Graveside Service will be held following the visitation on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the Browns Flat Cemetery in Briceville.

April Dawn Allen, age 32 of LaFollette passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013, at LaFollette Medical Center. She was a member of Ivy Dell Church of God. Preceded in death by her father, Robert Allen.

Survivors: Two sons, Kenton and Tyler; Mother and Step-Father, Michelle and David Rutherford of LaFollette; sister, Brandi Rutherford of LaFollette; and brother, Shane Rutherford of South Carolina. Several other relatives and friends.

Services Friday 2 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Junior Dilbeck officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 P.M. Friday before services at Walters Funeral Home. Mr. Ricky Roaden age 51 of Caryville passed away January 5, 2013 at LaFollette Medical Center. He was of the Baptist Faith. Preceded in death by father, Donnie Carl Roaden; brothers, James Roaden and Junior Roaden; sister, Patricia Ann Roaden.

Survivors: Mother, Hazel Roaden of Jacksboro; Sisters, Linda McNabb of Caryville, Mary Helen Lindsay of Norris, Betty Austin of Caryville, Gladys Pierce of Clinton, and Brenda Norman of Jacksboro; Brothers, David Roaden of Lake City, Larry Roaden of Jacksboro, and Robert Roaden of Georgia; Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services Wednesday 4 P.M. at Mountain View Baptist Church with Rev. Mitch Wilson officiating. Interment Vowell Mountain Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 P.M.
