Mary Ruth Wade, age 75 of Briceville, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the North Regional Medical Center of Knoxville. She was born on October 19, 1937 to the late Rev. Charlie and Mable Kelley Miles. She was a member of the Briceville Church of God. She enjoyed puzzle books, cooking, gardening, canning, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grand kids. In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Babcock, her brother Charles Miles Jr., her sisters; Pat Lindsay and Faye Saldana, and her son-in-law, Joe Seiber.

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 6, 2013 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Houston Carroll officiating.
Interment: To Follow Funeral Service on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at the Oliver Springs Cemetery in Oliver Springs.

Mr. Hugh L. Brown, age 81 of LaFollette passed away, Thursday, January 3, 2013, at LaFollette Medical Center. He was of the Baptist Faith, a retired auto worker from Ford Motor Company, and a U. S. Army Korean War Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Wardell “Peggy” Brown on February 2, 2008, parents, George L. Brown and Mary Elizabeth Moffette Brown, sister, Juanita Riggsbee, brother, Cletus Brown.
Survivors: Sisters, LaFrona Christopher of Clinton, TN, Mary Rogers of Pensacola, FL, Maude Sheets of Mesa, AZ, and Elizabeth Mongar of LaFollette; A host of nieces, nephews, and friends. He will be greatly missed by all, especially by John and Debbie Mongar, Miranda, Rebecca, and Wesley.
Funeral services Sunday 8 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Keith Mongar officiating. Family and friends will meet Monday at 9:30 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Bakers Forge Cemetery for 10 A.M. graveside services and interment, with full Military Honors conducted by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
