Jesse C. Wright age 89 of LaFollette, passed away Friday, April 13, 2012. Member ofGlade Springs Baptist Church and Stooksbury Masonic Lodge. Retired Farmer and drove  Taxi  for over 50 years. Preceded in death by wife Bonnie Willoughby Wright, brothers Ed, Sherman & Robert Wright and sister Ethel.

Larry C. Hensley
Larry C. Hensley age 63, of LaFollette, passed way Saturday, April 14, 2012. He was a member of East LaFollette BaptistChurch and retired from the City of LaFollette after 40 years of service. Preceded in death by Parents Laton & Helen Richards Hensley, Sisters Louise Marlow & Sandra Willoughby.

Herman Brown, Jr.
Mr. Herman Brown Jr. age 63 of LaFollette passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Physicians RegionalMedical Center in Knoxville.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  Preceded in death by parents, Herman Brown Sr. and Willie White Brown, and brother, Michael Brown.
Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Nova Brown of LaFollette; Son, Robert Deboy Brown of LaFollette; One Grandson, Christopher Deboy Brown of LaFollette; Brothers, Jack Brown of Jacksboro, Floyd “Bo” Brown, and Billy Brown, both of LaFollette; Sisters, Judy McCreary of LaFollette, Patricia Wilson of LaFollette, Helen Horn of Jacksboro, Brenda Rutherford of Jacksboro, Vanessa Dumont of Jacksboro, Melissa Wallace of LaFollette, and Alice Brown of LaFollette; 15 Nieces, 19 Nephews, Several great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Tuesday 7 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Terry Slover
Rev. Robert Terry Slover, age 64, of Lake City, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 14, 2012. Terry was born in Campbell County on June 4, 1947, to the late Ralph and Swela Foust Slover. He is a retiree with 41 years of service with Powell Clinch Utilities. Rev. Terry previously pastored Guiding Star, Little Cove Creek, Mars Hill, and Red Hill, where he is a member. He enjoyed traveling and riding through Cades Cove. Terry enjoyed going spending time with his friends at Hardees. In addition to his parents, Rev. Terry is preceded in death by his uncle, Albert “Slim” Slover, and his Father-in-Law, G.H. Queener.

Betty Irene Armstrong
Betty Irene Armstrong, age 68, of the Beech Grove Community in Lake City, passed away Friday, April 13, 2012 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. Betty was born May 29, 1943, in Anderson County. She was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church. Betty enjoyed spending time with her grand kids, flowers, and decorating for the holidays. Betty is preceded in death by her mother, Getrude Sharp and brothers, Ricky, and Terry Sharp.
